I would eccommend the hotel but with the proviso that due to its ideal location it can be noisy wherever your room is .Also for the price I expected maid ervice every day .On Sunday there was no service and it took two calls as late as 5pm and again at 6pm to get clean towels .Not good enough at a hotel of this calibre .
Top Tip
Dont go to the tapas bar on the side street. Service was really bad and even for Copenhagen very expensive .

The rooms are very small but nice and clean. You can hardly say there is a bar at the hotel but right next door is a Pub so to us it was o.k.

On the oter side of the street is Reef ´n Beef with very tasty food. The Tivoli Garden is around the corner and the shopping area "Strøget" just over the Town hall square, where the hotel is located.

The hotel is located a bit of walk from the Central Station especially if your luggage is big but it is facing the square and is across the street from Stroget, the shopping street so overall, it is of a good location and convenient. Would be more ideal if room service is available. Breakfast choice pretty limited.
Top Tip
fast food restaurants such as MacDonalds, Burger King are just round the corner. Hard Rock Cafe is nearby as well. The pick-up point for the day tour is just opposite.

No option of non-smoking room during my stay. Very unpleasant.
Single room very small, and furniture not clean, although bathroom and linen were spotless.
No tea / coffee facilities or complimentary water.
Staff very obliging, as far as they were able.
Very central location, handy for travel and for sites.
Not sure it's value for money.

Custom House restaurant very good, but expensive.
A day trip to Roskilde is well worth the time & effort(25 min train ride). The Viking Ship Museum is here.
Very near Hotel is the National Museum - gives a very good and interesting overview of Danish history

Great city location, good breakfast
Top Tip
The canal boat trip was good, Tivoli a bit disappointing really just an amusement park, nice at night when illuminated. Some very good restaurants, some very overpriced. We ate in Peder Oxe & Cap Horn in Nyhavn both excellent.

Traffic noise can be a problem for rooms overlooking the square. Ours was round the side so it wasn't too bad. Parking at City Parking which is underneath the hotel worked well but costs 200 DKK per 24 hours.
Top Tip
The restaurant "Vesuvio of Copenhagen" at 4, Raadhuspladsen (just opposite the Hotel) serves good Italian food at a reasonable price.
