Christian IV hotel
This small cosy hotel is peacefully located next to the King's Garden, and just a few minutes’ walk from the exciting pedestrian street Strøget, as well as the Royal Palace, the Royal Theatre and the district of Nyhavn.

Christian IV hotel
The name of this hotel refers to the Danish king Christian IV, who built the beautiful little palace, Rosenborg Castle, located adjacent to the property. It dates back to 1958, when it was created by linking together two 200 year-old buildings facing the King's Garden. The result is a small, cosy hotel which provides personal attention and professional service for all guests. The building has a white facade and each window features a hooded shade. The lobby is bright with comfortable leather seating and coffee tables. The guest rooms are well-equipped and decorated in a modern Danish style. All rooms also have ensuite bathrooms which are clean and maintained to a high standard. There is a small restaurant on the ground floor, where breakfast is served.

Well placed for Rosenborg Slot and park but also main shopping streets/restaurants within 10mins walk.Excellent breakfast buffet but would have liked to be able to make tea in my room too.
Top Tip
The new Opera House is very exciting architecturally but also manages to be an intimate space in a watery setting.
