This hotel is located in the city centre, only 5 minutes' walk from Copenhagen Central Station, the Tivoli Gardens, the main shopping street and the Town Hall Square. The surrounding area - a former red light district - has been cleaned up exceptionally well without losing its liveliness.

One of Copenhagen's best budget hotels, the Centrum is housed in a traditional, 5-storey building with a whitewashed façade and large windows. The lobby is medium sized with a curving, white and blue reception desk. The guest rooms vary in size due to the age of the building. They are basic , but also very well maintained with good amenities, high ceilings and comfortable beds. All the rooms are decorated in a contemporary Danish style, with warm natural colours. The restaurant, on the ground floor, is used only for breakfast, which offers typically hearty Scandinavian fare at the start to the day.
